It’s true that when the intention is right, Allah accepts the good actions with a higher and more blessed acceptance. Intention for productivity is also a holding power over its process and outcome.
Professionals Do Islam In Pakistani Workplace
Many professionals try to do Islam to the best of their abilities in the workplace. For example, where I live, in my home country, Pakistan, there are a lot of God conscious professionals in every office who pray with the congregation and get back to work with all the effortful spirit they have after the two salaams.
My point is, it’s not all gloomy here as we Muslims act to the best of our abilities in tough circumstances. The deen is protected by Allah and is present in the hearts of everyone with varying degrees of iman.
Quick Intention Fix for spiritual productivity in the office
Is there a quick method though, to increase this varying iman, regarding the present moment in office? In fact, there are not one but many quick methods and all point to making a right intention, and I share them:
- Decision makers should make the intention of developing a prayer area in every office in Pakistan.
- Making the intention of regulating decency in clothing for both, professional men and professional women in the office as this will enhance productivity both in the spiritual and dunyavi sense.
- Making the intention of – and this one is easier to carry out – not gossiping in the office.
- Making the intention to leave bad politics and leg-pulling altogether, it’s not worth it and against the spirit of barakah culture.
- Making the intention to do your best at work and be your best at work in the office.

These then are quick methods to start achieving Spiritual Productivity in the office.
Acting upon the intention
Carrying them out, acting upon them requires grit, resilience and courage on the part of my readers.
It’s cut-throat competition everywhere, I know. It’s coming from satan, I know that as well. For this reason I emphasise a key-fact: Everybody is cultured and every action shows this culture.
Also, everybody is significant. Wa laqad karramna bani adam.
Not losing touch with reality
When a professional loses touch with reality, he loses touch with this respect that Allah has bestowed upon him.
This is why making the right intention is so important. It is a driver of Barakah culture. It is a driver of Barakah culture shift that we are making for a better future.
The burnout culture is not rewarding anymore in the 21st century, Seth Godin has shown it in one of his books.
